Packed Instant Foods and Beverages The supermarket carried Korean instant noodle (Samyang brand), with the Korean authority’s halal logo and a number of packed coffee and tea with a halal logo. For example, ChekHup and Oldtown Malaysian coffee brands (with JAKIM’s halal logo) and many brands of packed beverages with a halal logo from JAKIM, Indonesia Ulema Council (MUI) and Vietnam Halal Certification Agency (HCA). Date of Review: 15 th  September 2017 Halal Shelf The supermarket has a dedicated halal shelf that was stacked with a variety of halal products. The halal shelf is located on the same isle with imported products shelves from the USA, UK, Italy, Turkey and many other European countries.      Most of the products on this shelf has a halal logo of halal certification authorities of Malaysia (Department of Islamic Development Malaysia or JAKIM), Indonesia (Indonesia Ulema Council or MUI) and Thailand (The Central Islamic Committee of Thailand or CICOT).
